Brave Art & Creative Wellness workshops will take you from feeling stuck and unsure to feeling capable, confident, and connected.

Spring 2025 sessions will be focused on Bilateral Drawing (drawing with both hands at the same time).

Each workshop session combines journal writing and intuitive art making with a focus on the process of making art, rather than the finished product. During our 5-weeks together, you will learn the importance of self-expression and listening to your own voice.

You Will:

Overcome Creative Blocks

Whether it’s in your art, career, relationships, or life in general, this workshop helps you get unstuck and take action by focusing on creative expression as a path to clarity.

Rediscover the Joy of Play

Each weekly session offers a much-needed break from the daily grind to rest and create. Through intuitive art-making, you’ll tap into your inner child and rekindle the fearless joy of creating for fun—not perfection.

Feel Seen and Supported

Join a nurturing, judgment-free space where you can explore your feelings, express yourself authentically, and connect with others.

"This workshop gave me a true respite from the chaos of my life! Jackie’s warm and welcoming approach created an environment where I felt safe to show up exactly as I was. It was a truly judgment free zone that allowed for focus, grace, creativity and freedom. What a joy!"

Frequently Asked Questions

"Jackie creates a safe environment to combine the practice of being present with the opportunity to just play. With low or no-cost materials, no artistic ability required, and a structured time period it’s like a break from life and an opportunity to refresh. Jackie has a natural ability as a facilitator, providing clear instructions yet providing flexibility - offering alternatives and negotiating the approach to each session with the participants."

"Taking this class has been the best thing I’ve chosen to do as far as self-care in years. The process of art-making, journaling, and sharing has allowed me to begin to open some parts of my heart that have been closed-off. Several times that breakthrough has happened as I listen to someone else share. This class has started the ball rolling, and I’m finding myself more and more turning to art to process difficult emotions and even memories. I have wanted to do that for years but never knew how."
