Tiny Sketchbook Reset

5 minutes a day. 1 tiny sketchbook. 30 days of giving your nervous system somewhere to land.

Your brain doesn’t need more to do. It needs somewhere to rest while your hands are busy. The Tiny Sketchbook Reset is a daily creative practice designed for the overstimulated, the overscheduled, and anyone whose inner critic has been driving for too long.

Every morning for 30 days, you'll open a tiny sketchbook and make one page. A new prompt is waiting. The video is 10–15 minutes. You can stay the whole time or leave after five minutes. You get full credit for showing up either way.

No techniques to master.

No outcomes to achieve.

Just your hands moving, your brain settling, and a page that didn’t exist before you created it.

This is the first daily challenge I’ve ever completed. even when i was very sick, even though i've been so depressed i haven’t done much else, being reminded that 5 minutes a day counts really helped. january is generally my void month where nothing creative happens because my seasonal depression gets really bad. i’ve used a lot of bright colors and it’s helped brighten a few minutes of some very hard days”

You already know making art would help. You just can’t seem to start.

You’ve got the supplies. Maybe a sketchbook that’s been sitting closed for months. You know that making something — anything — would probably feel good. But between the blank page, the inner critic, and the seventeen other things that need doing first, it never actually happens.

And the harder you try to motivate yourself, the more loaded it all gets and the more pressure you feel. “Go make art” starts to sound like homework.

This might be for you if…

✅    Your creative practice keeps stopping and starting — and you’ve stopped trusting yourself to stick with anything

✅    You want to make art more regularly but “go make something” keeps losing to everything else on your to-do list

✅    You’re overstimulated and under-rested — and you know five minutes of something quiet would help, if you could actually access it

✅    You’ve taken art courses before and either didn’t finish them or felt worse about your art when you did

✅    You don’t need to learn specific techniques — you need somewhere to go every morning that’s just for you

Why This Works

The structure does the work your motivation can’t.

Every day, a prompt is waiting. You don’t have to decide what to make. You don’t have to originate anything. The only thing left to decide is color and where to put it. That’s where play lives. When your nervous system knows what’s coming, it can actually rest. And when it’s resting, you make things you didn’t know you could make.

Tiny is the whole point.

A tiny sketchbook page can’t be precious. You can’t overthink something this small. Five minutes is short enough that the resistance can’t use time as an excuse. It’s long enough to feel the shift. And thirty days of five-minute pages is thirty pieces of evidence that you showed up — which adds up to something your inner critic can’t argue with.

Real-time means you’re not alone.

Every video is made in real time. You’ll see hesitation, wrong turns, ugly phases, and recovered pieces. You’ll hear what it actually sounds like inside an artist’s head while she’s working. Nothing is sped up. Nothing is edited to look effortless. You’re not watching a polished tutorial — you’re making art alongside someone who is also just making art.

This course has been life changing for me. I am no longer ripping pages out of my sketchbook because they weren’t ‘perfect.’ Jackie’s voice is soft and meditative and she’s very positive and reassuring. I’m now consistent about starting a small page to play in every morning!”

By the end of 30 days…

You’ll have filled an entire sketchbook cover to cover — perhaps for the first time

You’ll have a morning ritual that belongs entirely to you

You’ll trust your own instincts more and fight them less

You’ll have proven to yourself that you can show up for something creative, consistently, even on hard days

You’ll probably like your art more than you expected — though that’s almost beside the point

This isn’t a course about making your paintings prettier.

It’s about what a daily creative practice does to the rest of your life — the patience, the permission, the quiet moments where you’re not looking at a screen. The art is the vehicle. The destination is a nervous system that knows how to reset.

What's Included:

Everything you need. Nothing you don’t.

30 daily video prompts
One video every morning of June. A complete sketchbook page made in real time — start to finish, no fast-forwarding, no pretending it’s easier than it is. Paint along, or watch and make your own version. Either way, you showed up.

Value: $197

Daily creative wellness coaching
Every video includes something you won’t find in a typical art tutorial — real-time mindset coaching woven into the making. Permission-giving. Inner critic reframing. Nervous system language that helps your brain settle while your hands do something. This is the part that makes TSR feel different. Because it is.

Value: $75

Community access — two full months
A shared space to post your pages, celebrate your wins, ask questions, and feel genuinely accompanied through the 30 days. Knowing someone else is showing up too — on the hard days especially — makes a real difference. Community access runs through the end of July.

Value: $47

Day 15 mid-reset check-in call with Jackie
Halfway through the month, we meet live. A casual, celebratory drop-in call to share what’s been showing up on your pages — and in you. A chance to ask questions, catch your breath, and remember why you started. Can’t make it live? The recording will be waiting for you.

Value: $47

Day 30 live celebration call with Jackie
The final day of the reset, we gather together live to celebrate one thing: you showed up. You’ll share pages if you want to, hear what the month meant to others, and mark the end of 30 days of brave, consistent creative practice. This call is always one of the best parts. Come ready to feel proud of yourself.

Value: $47

Access to all 30+ video lessons through December 31, 2026

The reset ends June 30th. Your video access doesn’t — you have every prompt through the end of the year. Return to them whenever life gets busy, your brain gets loud, or you simply need a reset. Because you will want to do this again.

Value: $37

Total value: $450

Your investment: $97

That’s less than $3.25 a day to give your brain the rest it’s been asking for.

Surprise! I finished my first sketchbook ever! Jackie’s prompts inspired me to try new approaches to watercolor. The TSR Community is the friendliest bunch you’ll ever meet. They’re artistic cheerleaders, along for the ride with you!

Meet Jackie

Hi, I’m Jackie Schomburg — a self-taught abstract artist, the creator of the Brave Art & Creative Wellness brand, and someone with a busy brain that gets overwhelmed easily.

I’ve shown my work in galleries and set a sales record at my first solo show. I also genuinely need a nervous system reset every single day so I can show up as my best self for my art and my life.

I built the Tiny Sketchbook Reset because I needed it. A format that was small enough to actually do, structured enough that I didn’t have to decide anything, and real-time enough that I wasn’t performing for anyone. Just making something. Every day. Tiny page by tiny page.

If you’ve been watching my YouTube channel, you already know what this sounds like — the thinking out loud, the wrong turns, the moments where I genuinely don’t know if a piece is working. That’s what 30 days of this is. Come join me.

YES - I'M READY FOR MY RESET!

“For literally years I have purchased an untold number of classes that I don’t begin or at best quit shortly after I start. This is the first class I felt comfortable enough beginning and finishing. In fact, it gave me enough confidence that I started other classes that I had purchased in the past. It’s just the shot in the arm I needed to get my creativity back on track.
